Meat - Terry Bisson
Fantastic bit of dialogue. A study of belief, perspective,
prejudice, and meat. Very funny, and bordering on the
edge of "significant", except for the funny parts.
Untitled
(After a While) - Author Unknown, submitted by Barbara Cowdy
Many of you have probably read this one. It's been going around the
Internet for a while. Still a worthwhile read, it offers both words of wisdom, and a
subtle dose of hope.
The Calf
Path - Sam Walter Foss
A poem after my own heart. Though I normally don't care much for rhyming verse, I
must make exception for this work. It might be difficult at first to see where the
Calf is headed, but the moral comes quite clear as the poem draws to a close. Both
funny and sage, the best of both worlds.
